Breaking News: President Buhari Meets With Abdusalami Behind Closed Doors in Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari has engaged in a closed door meeting with General Abdulsalami Abubakar.



President Buhari is currently meeting with a former Head of State, Gen. Abdusalami Abubakar (retd.), at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
 
The meeting is reportedly being held behind closed doors.
 
Abubakar arrived for the meeting at about 12.35pm in a black Mercedes Benz car.
 
The purpose of the meeting is unknown at the time of filing this report.

Buhari mourns Anambra gas victims

Abuja –  President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed deep regret over the loss of lives following Thursday’s gas explosion at an industrial complex in Nnewi, Anambra. A statement issued in Abuja on Friday by the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, said the president was greatly shaken and shocked by such large-scale loss of human lives in a single industrial accident. According to the statement, Buhari cast a gloom on the families of the victims “who were looking forward to a joyous Christmas celebration’’.
