The All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday asked Nigerians, who see merit in the war against corruption by the Buhari government not to be distracted by the PDP and their agents of corruption, who are bent on blackmailing the anti-graft crusade. The party asked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to be free to approach any of the anti-graft agencies constitutionally mandated to handle corruption cases with proof of corruption against any APC member or serving minister under the Buhari government rather than making unsubstantiated allegations. In a statement issued by the APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, the APC condemned the unprovoked insults and unguarded statements by PDP on President Muhammadu Buhari and other members of the APC. An Appeal Court has declared the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Alex Otti, the winner of the Abia State Governorship election. Otti had filed a notice of appeal against the judgment of the election tribunal, which dismissed the petition he filed against the election of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu. The court, in its ruling on Thursday, ordered the swearing in of Otti, as governor of Abia State and asked Okezie Ikpeazu to vacate the office. Ikpeazu of the Peoples Democratic Party was declared winner of the election held in April by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Some Nigerians in Asia have hit the headlines for the wrong reasons as they are being prepared for prosecution. Three Nigerian men have been arrested by Indian police for allegedly gang raping a 19 year old Indian girl in West Delhi's Uttam Nagar area.   The three alleged rapists are pictured sitting on the ground in the pic above and surrounded by police. According to India police, the men were arrested on Dec. 29th after getting a statement from the victim, who claimed she was lured into the home of one of the men. The girl, who is a student, said she came to Delhi for the holidays and was staying with her brother's female friends. On the night of the incident, she said the two women suggested they go to the club to party but instead took her to the home of one of the Nigerians.   Later in the night, one of them started touching her inappropriately and when she resisted, he forced himself on her. A father is currently being investigated by the Nigerian police force after being accused of strangling his toddler he never accepted.    A man, Abubakar Ibrahim, 25, has reportedly choked his two-month-old child to death. The Tuesday incident occurred after the man failed to take care of the baby and the woman who delivered the child for him out of wedlock. The sad incident occurred at Unguwan Yandan in Jalingo, Taraba State. It was gathered that  the suspect and the child’s mother, Karshe Harmuel, also 25, were living together as lovers before she got pregnant. It was also learnt that when Karshe was closed to the Expected Day of Delivery (EDD), she left Ibrahim to live with her uncle, which is not far from her lover’s house. After she gave birth to a baby boy, Karshe’s family members said Ibrahim ended the relationship and left her to take care of the baby. Reports from Abia state reveal that an appeal Court has nullified the election of Mr Okezie Ikpeazu of the People's Democratic Party and declared Alex Otti Of APGA winner An Appeal Court has declared the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Mr Alex Otti, the winner of the Abia State Governorship election, according to Channels Television. The court in its ruling on Thursday ordered the swearing in of Mr Otti, as governor of Abia State and asked Mr Okezie Ikpeazu to vacate the office.
