The All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday asked Nigerians, who see merit in the war against corruption by the Buhari government not to be distracted by the PDP and their agents of corruption, who are bent on blackmailing the anti-graft crusade. An Appeal Court has declared the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Alex Otti, the winner of the Abia State Governorship election. Otti had filed a notice of appeal against the judgment of the election tribunal, which dismissed the petition he filed against the election of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu. The court, in its ruling on Thursday, ordered the swearing in of Otti, as governor of Abia State and asked Okezie Ikpeazu to vacate the office. Ikpeazu of the Peoples Democratic Party was declared winner of the election held in April by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Some Nigerians in Asia have hit the headlines for the wrong reasons as they are being prepared for prosecution. Three Nigerian men have been arrested by Indian police for allegedly gang raping a 19 year old Indian girl in West Delhi's Uttam Nagar area.   The three alleged rapists are pictured sitting on the ground in the pic above and surrounded by police. According to India police, the men were arrested on Dec. 29th after getting a statement from the victim, who claimed she was lured into the home of one of the men. The girl, who is a student, said she came to Delhi for the holidays and was staying with her brother's female friends. On the night of the incident, she said the two women suggested they go to the club to party but instead took her to the home of one of the Nigerians.   Later in the night, one of them started touching her inappropriately and when she resisted, he forced himself on her. A father is currently being investigated by the Nigerian police force after being accused of strangling his toddler he never accepted.    A man, Abubakar Ibrahim, 25, has reportedly choked his two-month-old child to death. The Tuesday incident occurred after the man failed to take care of the baby and the woman who delivered the child for him out of wedlock. The sad incident occurred at Unguwan Yandan in Jalingo, Taraba State. It was gathered that  the suspect and the child’s mother, Karshe Harmuel, also 25, were living together as lovers before she got pregnant. It was also learnt that when Karshe was closed to the Expected Day of Delivery (EDD), she left Ibrahim to live with her uncle, which is not far from her lover’s house. After she gave birth to a baby boy, Karshe’s family members said Ibrahim ended the relationship and left her to take care of the baby. So much crises have been erupting from the strained relationship between Davido and his babymama, Sophia Ajibola Momodu over child custody. Davido has taken to the social media to open a can of worms concerning his babymama, Miss Sophia Ajibola Momodu who he believes is unfit to claim custody of their daughter as a result of her alleged wayward lifestyle such as smoking and the rest.   Sophia filed a lawsuit against the 'Gobe' crooner which restricted him from flying the baby with his family to the United States of America yesterday night.   Davido, 23 accused Sophia, 28 of having a sexual relationship with his billionaire father's friend to which he defended the girl at their family party.
